Strange Death – This is a very simple code, but it’s kind of funny. When you are at the Buttville stage where you must use the helicopter head to fly downwards: There are two different paths to take in order to complete the stage. Take the left one, but don’t leave yet, just stand on the ground near the exit. Now, run into the thorns until Jims health reaches from 20% to 30%. Now when you get hit this time- the second you get hit, run to the exit where you get warped to the next stage and Jim won’t be dead yet. You’ll appear in the next stage,now quickly run as soon as the stage begins, and it looks like Jim has a heart attack or something because he dies for no reason- this is most likely because the game couldn’t calculate the damage taken by the thorns fast enough to make Jim die in the previous
Map View Mode – To view the map, pause the game and press A, X, A, X, A, A, A, A
Debug Mode – Press Start to pause the game. Simultaneously press and release Left + A, then press B, X, A, A, B, X, A, Start. A picture of the Earthworm Jim design team appears, followed by a debug menu with level-select and invincibility options.
Level Select – Enter these codes while the game is paused.

If you are playing Earthworm Jim on Snes9x (Or another SNES emulator which supports cheat codes) there are a ton of cheat codes you can use. You can basically use any of the codes listed under the Action replay codes + Game Genie Codes sections, you simply need to enter the required code as per below.
To active the cheat code you want launch the Snes9x application and load your game, Then click on the cheat menu > “Game Genie, Pro-Action Replay Codes”
On the next screen enter the cheat code in “Enter Cheat Code” field, Then add a description and click on add then click ok to close this screen. The cheat code will now be activated, please note with some codes need you to reset the game for the code to activate.
